  • Apple pricing will continue to be strong, with a few deals out in the marketplace on aged product.
  • Quality has been mostly good on all the varieties.
  • Honeycrisp market continues it's upward trend on pricing, as the end of their season looms.

  • Gala movement continues to be strong, along with Fuji, Granny smith & Pink Lady. Gold delicious are almost done for the season.

  • Storage onions are finished in WA for the season.

  • Overwintered onions are being packed now along with the famous Walla Walla Sweet Onions.

  • Market is surprisingly strong on Yellows and does not seem to be slowing.

  • Walla Walla Sweets are in good supply-price steady.  These summer onions will last until new crop. Direct seed onions begin in early August.

  • Bakersfield area is in full swing. Demand continues high this season, strength continues to build. 

  • Most sheds report that orders are coming in steady and they continue to book into the following week.

  • Some shippers are not pricing until day of shipment.  Onions are tight. Plan well ahead to get covered.

  • New Mexico running all colors and has high prices on strong demand as well.

  • Mostly larger sizes available, small sizes continue to be non-existent.

  • Idaho is in good supply of storage yellows. Reds are TIGHT.

  • California Central Valley for NEW CROP Red/Yellow/white potatoes including Fingerlings and Organic colored spuds. 

  • Red potatoes continue to be extremely tight and in high demand. The Price is UP!

  • Complete turnaround. 
  • We thought the iceberg lettuce market would start to return back to normal summertime levels.  But NO!
  • Damage from the heat 4 weeks ago caused growers to leave damaged lettuce in the fields.
  • Then harvest fields that were young to insure they had product available. 
  • Well now growers have "cut themselves out" of available lettuce. 
  • Processers are out buying fields to insure they have raw product for next weeks business.

  • Mexico numbers are still down but with Peru into play the market is finally moving down slightly.

  • Demand continues strong with fruit peaking 48/40. July will continue to be volatile.

  • We are seeing more of #2 fruit but even this is demanding big money and Organics are non-existent.

  • Calif is harvest which is very light is peaking 48/40/60's. Market wise everyone is the same.

  • A good chunk of crop already harvested, as such we expect the market to continue moving up for the time being.

  • Peruvian fruit is getting to be a player this year with fruit arriving on both coasts. This areas volume is hitting its stride.

  • The volume will take some pressure off the declining volume out of Mexico and the lack of supplies out of Calif.; but we expect the market to similar to slightly lower.

  • Lemons are struggling with the excessive heat recently we are seeing increased softness and some fuzz balls at the other end. 
  • Fruit is peaking on 115/140's; everyone on the hunt for 165 and smaller (big market spread between the two). 
  • The small fruit will remain tight through the summer so get ready for high markets. 
  • Imports are now available and on the smaller side 140/165's from Chile and Argentina. Lots of fruit is being dropped onto the East coast.
  • Customers are hoping this fruit will take some of the pressure off smaller sizing market.... only time will tell.  
  • Look to have this fruit available for shipping into Sept.

  • Cantaloupe supplies in the west are plentiful on smaller sizes and priced to move. 

  • Color is straw to tan with some occasional ground spotting.  At this time 9/12's are the lighter side.  Quality is good and eating great.

  • Honeydew supplies are plentiful harvesting Desert and on the west side.  Small fruit is plentiful now that holiday ads sucked up all the larger fruit. 

  • Shippers are looking to clean up.   Market in general is not that great but steady. Overall quality is good with excellent sugar/flavor.

  • Mixed melons are going well out of the desert as well and can be consolidated up to the Fresno area for your mixer orders.  Packing out 5/6's.

  • Valencia harvesting and packing but going slow with all the Calif fruits picking at this time; labor is a struggle.  

  • We are seeing some smaller sizes but don't expect them to last long.   All the rains Calif had this year have really grown this fruit.  

  • Valencia increasing domestically in volume with the market remaining relatively strong.

  • Quality is good-- firm hard fruit, nice color, and good sugar levels. 

  • Chilean Navels are available on the East coast and starting to show up on the West coast. 

  • Most of this fruit is on the larger side and demanding good money.  This fruit looks and eats very nice at this time.  Call ahead to lock product in.

    • California fruit tree showing good color/sugar/sizing.  Crews are out in full force however not enough to cover all product needing to be picked.
    • Peaches fruit peaking on 56/48 although some larger fruit is packing. Color is good and demand good. 
    • Available in White flesh and Yellow varieties. Nectarines better volume than peaches with nice full color red. 
    • Sizing is peaking 54/48 demand good with supplies improving; Yellow and White flesh available.
    • Apriums are packing in 2-3 layers.Apricots sizing big this year with great color,  supplies are light.
    • Plums are on the lighter side with both Red and Black varieties available.  
    • Sizing here you can still see some smaller fruit but this will dwindle as we get into more varieties.  
    • The fruit looks good with nice color & sugar.  Supplies are improving weekly.   Pluots are going but supplies are light.
    • We have supplies and various packs of Arils (Pomegranate seeds) now packing from Peru with Chilean fruit next week.
    • We can offer a variety of pack sizes packed to order.
    • Asian Pears are available in single layer packs from Chile call for varieties and sizing.
